Afternoon Tea for Two

Enjoy a spot of delicious afternoon tea in the Heritage Cafe. The afternoon tea menu makes use of seasonal produce and changes weekly, but you can be sure to enjoy sandwiches (with the crusts cut off of course), a mini cup of soup and a savoury quiche, and homemade puddings - always served with a delicious scone, topped with jam and clotted cream.

Samlesbury Hall is a stunning stately home, built in 1325, and is still enjoyed by visitors today as a fantastic family friendly day out. Learn more about the fascinating history of the Hall by visiting its archive rooms, with frequently changing exhibitions. Explore the beautiful grounds and gardens, before enjoying a bite to eat in the award-winning restaurant.

The Heritage Cafe makes the most of seasonal and local produce by using ingredients sourced from Lancashire and the Ribble Valley, with a fantastic menu serving everything from light bites and salads to hot sandwiches, sharing platters, and afternoon tea. For a sweet treat, visit Dottie’s Wafflery, where you can enjoy freshly made waffles and decadent desserts from mouth-watering milkshakes to fruit smoothies. Samlesbury Hall is a great day out for visitors of all ages, with something for everyone to enjoy.
